Energy, the foundation of growth

No plant operates without electricity. Industries such as steel and ferroalloys, whose melting furnaces run on power, are among the largest energy consumers in the country. Whenever the grid falls short, the effect reaches the production line directly: furnaces shut down, schedules slip, and restarting costs both time and money.

Our group took shape across several sectors from the outset, and energy was one of them. Having worked alongside the steel industry, we have seen first-hand that energy is the main bottleneck to industrial growth. Our move into power generation grew out of that experience: to play our part in a reliable energy supply, for industry and for the country.

Every unit of electricity generated by the private sector takes load off the national grid. This matters most in the hottest months, when demand peaks and industry is hit hardest. For us, generating power is not just an economic activity; it is part of the responsibility we feel towards society and the country's industry.

A power plant is built to last for decades. An investment of this kind does not fit a short-term mindset, which is exactly why it fits ours: in every decision we make, our focus is on resilience and long-term success, not short-lived gains.

Economic growth is not our only aim; we want to leave a positive and lasting impact on society and the environment. In energy, that means generation that is sustainable, meets the country's real needs and keeps the future in view.
